Shopping
In Malta there are countless shopping malls - but the bests are in Paceville (BayStreet); Sliema (Plaza Shopping Mall and inner city) as well in Valletta (2km long street with shops) and Portomaso Tower (Portomaso Shopping Complex) – the latter is quite luxurious.
Bay Street
The Bay Street shopping mall consists of 3 floors and houses shops for following products: Clothing (Mexx), books, restaurants (Argentinean Steakhouse, McDonalds), cafes, bars (Hard Rock Cafe), an arcade gaming centre (Jokers Family Fun for kids/teens and adults) and much more. ... more
Plaza Shopping Mall
The Plaza Shopping Mall lies in the centre of Sliema and is similar to Bay Street in Paceville, however the flair is much different. The reason for this difference is probably that BayStreet is influenced very strongly by the nearby entertainment centre and nightlife of Paceville. ... more
Portomaso Shopping Complex
The Portomaso Shopping Complex lies in Paceville near the Portomaso Tower, which is also known as Hilton Tower. ... more
Valletta
Valletta, probably the best spot with the most shops and malls to go shopping. The main street (Republic Street) is full of shops, especially jewelers. You must visit this street. The main road is full of people between 8am to 12am and again from 4pm till 7 pm. The so called Siesta takes place from 12am till 4pm. ... more

The Popeye village
The movie about Popeye (starring Robin Williams in his first ever movie!) was shot here in Malta in 1980. Only for the movie a whole village was constructed. The village is still there, north-westwards on the island - unfortunately it’s not easy reachable.
St. Julians
St. Julians is a former fishing village, but nowadays it has become one of the most famous tourist attractions in Malta. St. Julians has a nice flair and offers very good entertainment, like bars, cafes, restaurants, souvenir-shops. The Spinola Bay in St. Julians gives the city a calm atmosphere.
A visit in Sicily
If you want you can go on an excursion to Sicily. The cost is around €90 (including return) - includes a complete tour around Sicily with the bus.
