Paceville

Paceville is the party-spot number one in Malta - especially in summer (from June to September), when the big parties start to happen. During the low season, in the winter months it’s less a party city, but more mellow, with fewer people hanging out, except for the weekend!

One thing to reckon is the number of women, which seem to outnumber men. If you manage to get up early the next morning, you can still find the leftovers of the night, the streets are full of rubbish, but will be cleaned immediately.

Well known discos are: Footloose (mix); there is always something going, Hawanna (Hip-Hop) quite big, Empire (House Music), Fuego (Salsa-Bar), Qube; Vodka-Bar, Axis(Disco No. 1) it is the only disco to pay entry, you definitely should visit it once! It also serves a VIP-Lounge. Opens normally only on Saturdays! Plush, a new scenic spot has emerged recently and offers a unique nightlife experience.

Those are the top-discos in Paceville. There are certainly also others.

How to find the discos?

Once you have arrived in Paceville it will be impossible not to find it. Follow the crowd! The major clubs are all located in the main street. You will only need a few seconds from one disco to another. The whole street consists of clubs, discos, fast food, etc. In the summer the streets are always jam-packed with lots of people. Have fun!

Bus: 62, 64, 65, 68, 70, 645, 652, 662, 627, 667, 671The bus-system is very easy to understand. A bus always goes two ways, either to Valletta or from Valletta away. In front of the gate of Valletta there is a huge roundabout - that’s the main bus-terminus in Malta. Some buses are also directly linking two cities between the north and south, but most of the buses are stopping in Valletta.

Valletta - The capital of Malta

Valletta is the capital city of Malta - a very nice city, very well fortified and preserved. Everywhere you can see fortifications, huge constructions! The main road is full of shops and also always full of people, except at night when most of the shops are closed. As soon as the shops have closed the city is empty.

The Popeye village

The movie about Popeye (starring Robin Williams in his first ever movie!) was shot here in Malta in 1980. Only for the movie a whole village was constructed. The village is still there, north-westwards on the island - unfortunately it’s not easy reachable.

Portomaso Shopping Complex

The Portomaso Shopping Complex lies in Paceville near the Portomaso Tower, which is also known as Hilton Tower.
