Electricity/Sockets in Malta

In Malta the sockets used are 3-pin, British standard. On the first gaze it might look quite confusing for people who are not used to it, but it isn’t. The on/off switch is on the upper right side. Obviously if you switch it off there is no electricity on the socket and vice-versa. In this case it is switched on. The socket has three holes.

Portomaso Shopping Complex
The Portomaso Shopping Complex lies in Paceville near the Portomaso Tower, which is also known as Hilton Tower.
GOZO
Gozo has something to offer which Malta does not have. For example on one hand the Azure Window, a naturally formed arch on the coast. On the other hand the capital Victoria with the small romantic lanes and the large bastions, from which one has an excellent view of the whole of Gozo and parts of Malta and Comino. Then there is the beautiful beach, the Ramla Bay, and the historical temples of Ggantija. In addition the flair of the island and the inhabitants is a completely different one than in Malta.
Cospicua (Bormla)
Cospicua (Bormla) lies in front of the two peninsulas: Vittoriosa (Birgu) and Senglea (L’Isla). The city is the consequence of the overpopulation of the two peninsulas, Vittoriosa and Senglea. It was designed in 1717 and is surrounded by two fortifications. The outer one is known as the Cottonera Lines and the inner as the Margerita Lines.
