Great Siege 1565 Malta
Karl V., Spanish king and the Kaiser of Germany gave the island of Malta as fiefdom to the Knights Hospitalizes (Knights of St. John) in 1530 with the purpose to use their powers against the godless enemies. Ferry-Connection Malta-Italy | Italy-Malta
Direct ferry connections between Italy and Malta exist with Genoa, Salerno as well as Sicily (Pozzallo, Palermo, and Catania).
Paceville
Paceville is the party-spot number one in Malta - especially in summer (from June to September), when the big parties start to happen. During the low season, in the winter months it’s less a party city, but more mellow, with fewer people hanging out, except for the weekend!
Bugibba
What can Bugibba offer and how to get there? Both cities, Bugibba and Qawra, are directly linked to each other. The cities developed together into one another. One can hardly recognize where Qawra begins and Bugibba ends. The bay hardly offers sandy beaches, on the contrary is very rocky.
