Sights in Marsaxlokk

In Marsaxlokk there isn’t much to see. The city has a nice bay, full of colorful traditional Maltese boats, also known as Dghajjes- or Luzzu-boats. The attraction #1 is the market. In the centre is a beautiful big church surrounded by old houses. Not far away from Marsaxlokk in the south lies the Fort St. Lucian. North-eastwards are an old church and the temples of Tas-Silg.

St. Georges Bay

St.Georges Bay is a small beach in Paceville. The sand is not very beautifully, coarse-grained and brownish. The bay itself is very limited; one can only swim to a maximum of 150 - 200 meters out to sea, as from then onwards the area is reserved for anchoring boats, which also block the view to the open sea. The beach is very well frequented in the summer.

Valletta - The capital of Malta

Valletta is the capital city of Malta - a very nice city, very well fortified and preserved. Everywhere you can see fortifications, huge constructions! The main road is full of shops and also always full of people, except at night when most of the shops are closed. As soon as the shops have closed the city is empty.
