Casinos

There are four larger casinos on Malta. The best known is the Dragonara Casino in St. Julians/Paceville. Some people even come all the way from Sicily with their yachts to gamble here.
If you want to visit a casino you shouldn’t forget your passport (or any other identification papers, e.g. driving license), because at the first visit all the information about you will be entered into the computer database. You will get a casino-card, which you have to show any time you visit it – then the passport is no longer needed.
The minimum age to visit the casino is 18 years for foreigners and 22 years for Maltese.
+++ What to wear? You shouldn’t visit the casino in a short trousers and a colorful Bermuda t-shirt. They don’t have a strict dress code, however you should wear occasional cloth or you will be send home.

Bugibba
What can Bugibba offer and how to get there? Both cities, Bugibba and Qawra, are directly linked to each other. The cities developed together into one another. One can hardly recognize where Qawra begins and Bugibba ends. The bay hardly offers sandy beaches, on the contrary is very rocky.
Gnejna Bay
This bay is not far away from the Golden Bay. It can be reached on foot, with some effort, from Golden Bay, but the landscape and the cliffs make this a bit difficult. A road leads to the bay and with a car getting there is much faster.
Tarxien Temple
The most popular temple in Malta can be found in the village of Tarxien and is known as the Tarxien Temple. This was accidentally discovered in the year 1916. It is said that a farmer was complaining about too many huge stones in his field - the consequence was that an archaeologist focused his attention on this field.
