Gnejna Bay

Gnejna Bay

This bay is not far away from the Golden Bay. It can be reached on foot, with some effort, from Golden Bay, but the landscape and the cliffs make this a bit difficult.

A road leads to the bay and with a car getting there is much faster.

Mdina - the old capital

Mdina is the old capital city of Malta and lies on the south-western part of the island. You could say only a little bit in the outback. Beside it is Rabat. The population of Mdina is around 400 people. It is quite impossible that the population can increase, because the whole city resembles more a castle or fort then a city. The city lies 190mtrs above sea level (that’s quite high for Maltese landscape) and is surrounded with slopes on three sides. The city has almost the form of a square and is very strong fortified.

Golden Bay - probably the most beautiful beach in Malta

Golden Bay is situated in the northwest part of the island. The beach is somewhat difficult to reach, since it lies quite remote. However it is worth the strain, as seen on the pictures; -). Sun, sand and sea. The beach is very large and extends itself far into the sea. The bay offers stunning scenery with its beautiful rock. Sunset at this beach is breath-taking. Also a range of boats are offered, like: Motorboats, Banana boats, small sailing boats, etc.

ITS – Institute of Tourism Studies

ITS is a tourism and hotel management/hospitality school At ITS you can study tourism or hotel management. The school lies in St. Julians. Many Maltese and Chinese are studying in the school but there are also other nationalities.
