St. Thomas Bay

The St.Thomas Bay is on the outskirts of Marsascala. The bay is very large; however it only has a small sandy beach. Cliffs surround the majority of the bay.

There are some cafes and Snack-bars beside the bay. The bay is used also by many Maltese Fishermen.

Bus: 30The bus-system is very easy to understand. A bus always goes two ways, either to Valletta or from Valletta away. In front of the gate of Valletta there is a huge roundabout - that’s the main bus-terminus in Malta. Some buses are also directly linking two cities between the north and south, but most of the buses are stopping in Valletta.

Valletta - The capital of Malta

Valletta is the capital city of Malta - a very nice city, very well fortified and preserved. Everywhere you can see fortifications, huge constructions! The main road is full of shops and also always full of people, except at night when most of the shops are closed. As soon as the shops have closed the city is empty.

Birzebbugia - sothern city in Malta

Birzebbuga lies deep in the south on the great bay of Marsaxlokk(Pretty Bay). The city is very nice and has a certain charm. Unfortunately, this charm is shadowed by the cranes of the Malta Freeport, the air traffic and the oil tanks/pipelines of EneMalta nowadays. The bay has a nice promenade which follows the whole coastline in Birzebbuga.

Valletta Harbor Cruise

With a harbor cruise you get a beautiful insight into the capital of Malta, Valletta, with its enormous fortifications as well as the hidden angles and heavenly shores of the harbor. During the harbor cruise a guide explains the history and different parts of the harbor and the buildings around.
