Marsascala Bay

Marsascala Bay is really a very beautiful bay. However one finds very few swimming possibilities there and in the few ones the sea is only accessible by means of a ladder. The entire bay is surrounded by cliffs.

Bus: 17, 19, and 20The bus-system is very easy to understand. A bus always goes two ways, either to Valletta or from Valletta away. In front of the gate of Valletta there is a huge roundabout - that’s the main bus-terminus in Malta. Some buses are also directly linking two cities between the north and south, but most of the buses are stopping in Valletta.

Golden Bay - probably the most beautiful beach in Malta

Golden Bay is situated in the northwest part of the island. The beach is somewhat difficult to reach, since it lies quite remote. However it is worth the strain, as seen on the pictures; -). Sun, sand and sea. The beach is very large and extends itself far into the sea. The bay offers stunning scenery with its beautiful rock. Sunset at this beach is breath-taking. Also a range of boats are offered, like: Motorboats, Banana boats, small sailing boats, etc.

St. Thomas Bay

The St.Thomas Bay is on the outskirts of Marsascala. The bay is very large; however it only has a small sandy beach. Cliffs surround the majority of the bay. There are some cafes and Snack-bars beside the bay. The bay is used also by many Maltese Fishermen.

Ghar Lapsi

Ghar Lapsi is a small sheltered bay in the south-west of Malta. The bay is not far from the Mnajdra temple.
