Mellieha Bay

Mellieha Bay is located on the outskirts of Mellieha and hosts one of the largest sandy-beach stretches of Malta. The bay is very beautiful and very wide. From the beach, one can enjoy a very beautiful view over the sea and on Mellieha itself.
Several kiosks, Snack-bars, cafes and restaurants are scattered around the place.
In the bay itself, services are offered: boat rides and rental, Jet skis, Surfing equipment etc. A diving school can also be found. In the autumn/winter and on particularly windy days it is common to see many wind-surfers and kite-surfing in this bay. The wind and the waves are simply wonderful.
The beach is clean and the sand is very beautiful. Sun-beds and umbrellas can be rented on site.
The bay is very often jam-packed in summer, particularly on weekends.

Senglea (L-Isla)
The peninsula of Senglea (L-Isla) lies southwards of Valletta in the Grand Harbor. On the left side of the peninsula there is the French Creek in which there are also the docks with the huge cranes. On the other side is the Dockyard Creek and Vittoriosa (Birgu). In the south of Senglea is Cospicua (Bormla). Senglea was founded by the Grand Master ‘De La Sengle‘ in the year of 1551. From him the city also got its name: Senglea.
Valletta
Valletta, probably the best spot with the most shops and malls to go shopping. The main street (Republic Street) is full of shops, especially jewelers. You must visit this street. The main road is full of people between 8am to 12am and again from 4pm till 7 pm. The so called Siesta takes place from 12am till 4pm.
Paradise Bay
The sandy beach at the Paradise Bay is unbelievably beautifully, however somewhat small. The rocky and untouched landscape offers pictorial scenery.
