Ghajn Tuffieha Bay

Ghajn Tuffieha Bay

The Ghajn Tuffieha bay is situated directly besides that of Golden Bay. It can be reached very easily on foot. Parking lots are available directly above the bay.

The bay is fantastically beautiful. The beach is somewhat small, however clean and the sand is fine.

In and out of this bay one can move also very easily. Path ways on the hills and cliffs are all around the bay. From these paths one also has a very beautiful view.

On the beach there is a small kiosk.

Ferry-Connection Malta-Italy | Italy-Malta

Direct ferry connections between Italy and Malta exist with Genoa, Salerno as well as Sicily (Pozzallo, Palermo, and Catania).

GOZO

Gozo has something to offer which Malta does not have. For example on one hand the Azure Window, a naturally formed arch on the coast. On the other hand the capital Victoria with the small romantic lanes and the large bastions, from which one has an excellent view of the whole of Gozo and parts of Malta and Comino. Then there is the beautiful beach, the Ramla Bay, and the historical temples of Ggantija. In addition the flair of the island and the inhabitants is a completely different one than in Malta.

Carnival in Malta

Carnivals in Malta, as we know them now, were first organized shortly after the Knights of St John came to the Island in 1535. The first that really broke out into the general jollification was probably the Carnival of 1560, when a massed Christian Armada was harbour-bound in Malta before sailing to Tripoli.
